The Drive In Wheelchair Table is a clever addition to the classroom, home and therapy room. The table allows a wheelchair user to drive themselves into the table to ensure maximum access to the tabletop. We custom make each table to suit your individual needs with cutouts or hinged flaps depending on your situation.
Our Drive In Wheelchair Table is suitable for any child or adult who uses a wheelchair. Whether your chair has a joystick or a controller or display screen at the front or side of your armrest, or both, the table can be designed to suit it.
Adjustability
All our tables are height-adjustable with a steel frames and laminated tabletop. The height of the table is adjusted using either pin adjustable legs, a hand winder or electrically. This height adjustability means the table can be made for children but can also grow as your child’s needs change. The table can also be used by other members of the family with a quick adjustment to the height.
Your table can be designed to include a cut out and tabletop rails if required and these items can be modified to suit the needs of the user and their wheelchair.
The table can include hinged panels which lift up to allow easy drive in access. Once the user is positioned, the panel can be lowered giving them a flat and full table surface to work on.
Other optional components for the table include rails on three sides, lockable castors and cable ducts for electrical cords.
