The Inclusion Table is suitable for all school-aged children and facilitates group work or group therapy.
Because the table is height adjustable, the table can be adjusted to facilitate a child or children to be sitting in an upright or ready sitting posture with their feet flat on the floor. The cut out has the added bonus of providing front and side support from the table. This assists a child to feel more supported and provide extra prompts to sit upright and maintain focus as they start to fatigue or become distracted. The cut out allows the child to be nice and close to the table so their arms and elbows can be supported and they have immediate access to the task in front of them
The Inclusion Table can be adjusted to suit the needs of a child with physical disabilities during lunch or meal times providing tabletop support for feeding. These children can often be separated from their friends due to their physical requirements for safe eating. The Inclusion Table allows other children to join their friend during meal times at the ‘lunch’ table, promoting inclusion across the school day.
A child with autism spectrum disorders, autistic tendencies and sensory processing disorders may feel the need to be enclosed and snug to feel safe and fulfill their sensory needs. The Inclusion Table creates this safe space and encourages these children to be included in standard classroom activities without being excluded or separated due to their additional needs.
Description and Adjustability
The Inclusion Table is a height-adjustable semi circle table with a steel frame. The height of the table is adjusted by increasing/decreasing the length of the pin adjustable legs.
The table comes with four cut outs. The number of cut outs and dimensions of each cut out can be modified to suit your needs.
Optional components for the table include lockable rubber wheeled castors.

Finish and Colour Choice
The Inclusion Table is constructed with a powder-coated welded steel frame in your choice of colour. The tabletop is highly moisture resistant Laminexâ with rounded corners and PVC edging.
