With over 30 years’ experience in designing and building specialised furniture, we know you will appreciate the quality of our products and the options we provide for you. In addition to our standard products, we have a range of items that can be used to adjust the functionality of our chairs and tables and extend the life of each piece of furniture—allowing it to be used for a longer period of time, or for more than one child.

As all our furniture is designed and manufactured in our Brisbane workshop, making an individual custom-made piece or altering something from our existing range to suit your needs gives us great satisfaction.

Our People

For the past 30 years CAP has been manufacturing wooden toys, play equipment and furniture for children in the early childhood sector and children with special needs. CAP has a strong reputation for working with therapists, teachers and parents to design and manufacture furniture and equipment for children.

In 2010, the company founder made way for the next generation of owners to take the business into the 21st century. Under the direction of Fiona and Mark, the company vision was redefined, the operations were modernised, and the product range revised. 

Mark Walters

In 2024 CAP furniture was purchased by Mark Walters, a loving father of two beautiful daughters. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Mark is extremely excited to have been granted this opportunity and possesses a passion to serve children and adults in need. His dream is to grow the company, so people are served in every corner of Australia. Mark will further develop the range of products to provide more opportunity for special needs children and adults and will customise designs to suit individual needs.
