About CAP

The CAP Difference

CAP is a family-owned Australian business

We have children, too. We know the importance of durable, high-quality and functional furniture and equipment that you can rely on. That is what we provide for you.

We believe that foundations are important

We believe that children of all abilities deserve support and assistance, and that is why we work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, teachers, and, of course, parents to design and manufacture furniture and equipment that will suit your child now and into the future.

We build our furniture to last

With over 30 years’ experience in designing and building specialised furniture, we know you will appreciate the quality of our products and the options we provide for you. In addition to our standard products, we have a range of items that can be used to adjust the functionality of our chairs and tables and extend the life of each piece of furniture—allowing it to be used for a longer period of time, or for more than one child.

We know that each child is unique

As all our furniture is designed and manufactured in our Brisbane workshop, making an individual custom-made piece or altering something from our existing range to suit your needs is not only a simple process, but also one that gives us great satisfaction.

We provide friendly, professional and outstanding service every time

When working with CAP you can expect the service of a family company, with the professionalism and quality of a much larger one.

Our Vision

Our name describes our dreams and drives all aspects of our business each day – we want all Children to Achieve their full Potential.

We believe that children of all abilities should be supported to reach their full potential, be it in play, therapy or education environments. Children Achieving Potential is our vision realised and a job well done!

Our vision is to provide that support to all Australian Children who need a little more Assistance to learn, Play and develop their skills.

Mission

To be an international leader in manufacturing Australian made, high-quality, solution-focussed furniture for children with special needs.

Be part of our dream and join forces with the CAP Family today. After all, your child deserves furniture that is as unique and as special as them.

Our People

For the past 30 years CAP has been manufacturing wooden toys, play equipment and furniture for children in the early childhood sector and children with special needs. CAP has a strong reputation for working with therapists, teachers and parents to design and manufacture furniture and equipment for children.

In 2010, the company founder made way for the next generation of owners to take the business into the 21st century. Under the direction of Fiona and Mark, we are redefining our vision, modernising our operations and revising our product range. We have a strong commitment to keeping our business Australian; keeping our operations local, employing local staff and using local materials.
