The Launchpad Chair™ is a purpose-built seated throwing chair designed to enable athletes with disabilities to fully participate in field events such as shot put, discus, and javelin. Engineered with both performance and safety in mind, the Launchpad Chair supports athletes at all levels — from grassroots participation to high-performance pathways — while meeting the IPC Athletics Seated Throwing requirements for competition use.

Constructed from durable aluminium with steel support components, the Launchpad Chair offers exceptional strength, stability, and versatility in outdoor field environments. Its 75 cm maximum seat height, square seat profile, rigid grab bar, and non-propulsive design ensure alignment with international seated throwing regulations, giving athletes, coaches, and officials confidence during training and competition.

The Launchpad Chair features a secure, wide padded lap belt, adjustable footplate and side supports, and a height-adjustable grab bar that can be positioned on either side of the chair to suit athlete preference and classification needs. A removable backrest allows flexibility across different throwing styles while maintaining rule compliance.

With a stable tie-down-ready frame, collapsible design, integrated wheels, and flat-pack transport capability, the Launchpad Chair is ideal for schools, clubs, associations, and elite programs seeking practical, competition-ready equipment.
