Description
A child who has limited trunk control and requires assistance or reminding to maintain an upright sitting posture may benefit from a writing slope during handwriting tasks. The angle of the slope allows for a child to more easily reach their work without having to round their shoulders towards the table.
Often children with fatigue may start off with an upright sitting posture but after a period of time, and due to their concentration of the task and the energy it takes to sit upright, they will end up almost with their face on the desk so close to their work.
A writing slope can stop this as the child does not have to put so much energy in moving forward and back to their original upright sitting position, instead the area in which they have to move is much smaller as their work is closer to them.
The Adjustable Writing Slope is now made from Plywood. The new slimmer and lighter design with an inbuilt carry handle makes it easier for your child to carry short distances. It has 7 positions from 20 degree to 70 degree to achieve the best angle. Board size is 450mm x 350mm with anti-slip buffers on the base & a rail on bottom edge. This writing slope folds and stores flat when not in use.
